Payment for services is due in full at the conclusion of each visit. Our office accepts checks, cash, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
We recommend that you contact your insurance carrier to verify benefits. We are an out-of-network provider so check those benefits. Some visits can be covered as in-network if your carrier does not have a specialist in Osteopathic Medicine on its list of providers. You also want to check if there is a deductible to be met for in-network and out-of-network. Then check what percent is paid after the deductible is met.
We are not contracted with insurance carriers. As a courtesy we will submit claims to your insurance for out-of-network provider reimbursement if you have a PPO or other insurance plan that allows you to choose your physician. We cannot bill HMO insurance plans as we are not contracted with them. Services and supplements may also be covered by a health care reimbursement account or Health Savings Account. We are able to bill some Tricare insurance. We are unable to bill Medicare. We can provide service if your secondary insurance is not linked to Medicare or Medicare is your secondary insurance.
Why don’t you take insurance?
Because the current insurance model requires a higher volume, this limits the time you and I can spend together to 10 minutes. This does, not provide ample time for osteopathic manipulative treatment and other integrative treatment options.
